Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Part of the Fluxfilm series, this was distributed as 16mm 'cinema of boredom' to deliberately alienate audiences — the anti-blockbuster.
The 1000-frame length wasn't arbitrary: it exactly filled one 100-foot roll of 16mm film, making distribution as cheap as humanly possible.
