A Saiyan Space pod crash-lands on Earth out of which a wounded Saiyan crawls: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. The wounded Broly shouts out in frustration and turns into normal form. The place soon freezes, trapping him in it and he falls into a coma.

This was the first Dragon Ball film where Goku appears despite being canonically dead, establishing the 'ghost Goku ex machina' tradition.
Broly's 'Legendary Super Saiyan' green hair became so iconic that Dragon Ball Super later canonized him, erasing this movie's continuity entirely.
