Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Boyle shot the deserted London scenes at 4am with a skeleton crew, sometimes having only 20 minutes before traffic resumed. Cillian Murphy genuinely wandered empty Westminster Bridge.
This film single-handedly revived the zombie genre—before it, undead shuffled. After? EVERYONE runs. 28 Days Later invented the modern fast zombie, and we're still dealing with the consequences.

I didn’t realise this hasn’t been available streaming and that there is practically 2 whole generations that haven’t seen it, you’re in for a treat!. It’s hard to express how fresh and groundbreaking this was when it came out, the introduction of fast zombies was insane!.
