Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director 'Otz Tollen' is widely believed to be a pseudonym, possibly for distributor purposes — the true auteur remains silent cinema's ghost.
This six-episode structure directly influenced the 1921 Das indische Grabmal, cementing Germany's obsession with exotic curse anthologies before Universal's monster cycle.
