Standout Aspects

Writing

Each episode adapts actual legends with surprising narrative economy.

Best for:Family: Perfect multigenerational watch — grandparents to kids get the references.·Binge: Twelve tight episodes. No commitment, all payoff.·Solo: Late-night folklore rabbit hole for animation nerds.
Heads up:Disturbing: Some folklore gets dark — aswang, manananggal, the usual suspects.
