Originally a web series on Newgrounds in 1999, it became one of the first viral internet cartoons and accidentally raised an entire generation of desensitized millennials.
The creators made a fake 'ban' episode where everyone died permanently, then revealed it was an April Fools' joke—except they actually did get cancelled in 2016. The irony is not lost.
