In the changeable, future-oriented metropolis, you meet so-called street fishermen: For them the water level of the Elbe is crucial for their hunt for the big bite. Streetfishers are modern anglers who incorporate the urban realities of the city. Not far from the second largest container port in Europe, you meet bird keepers in the Hamburg Wadden Sea National Park, for whom proximity to the city can cause problems. Hamburg's warehouse district lies in the middle of the Elbe, framed by the city center and HafenCity. We continue to St. Pauli: The classic corner pub, in which the old seafarers quenched their thirst, hardly exists anymore in the Kiez. “Zum Silbersack”, once the favorite pub of singer legend Hans Albers, is such a relic: here you will find passionate regulars of the long-established pub at all times of the day.
