Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Cultural

This series bridged the gap between radio detective dramas and the gritty realism of 'The Sweeney,' making it a fossil of British TV's evolutionary chain.

Trivia

Raymond Francis played Lockhart across three separate series (Murder Bag, Crime Sheet, No Hiding Place) for nearly a decade—making him one of British TV's first franchise detectives before that was even a concept.
