LatestAfter Corrigan drops Detective O'Brien's niece Jennifer off at a jewellery store to buy a gift for her uncle's 25th anniversary in the force, the store is hit by a pair of armed robbers, and in the robbery Jennifer is gunned down. With the only lead being the hi-tech gun used by one of the thieves, Corrigan feels responsible for Jennifer's death, and the investigation is hampered by a television news reporter eager for a story. Meanwhile, one of the murderous robbers gets a taste for the fame that the shooting brings him, and plans to make a play for the determined reporter.
Sergeant Thomas Jefferson Hooker is a tough-as-nails veteran police officer with the LCPD who turns his back on a gold badge and goes back to patrolling the streets and training recruits. Along with his young partners in blue, Hooker take on Lake City's toughest criminals.
