Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Richard Boone directed 19 episodes himself, often rewriting scripts on set when dialogue felt beneath Paladin's intellect.

Cultural

The radio version outlived the TV show, making Paladin one of few characters to jump from screen to audio successfully—because listeners could imagine Boone's voice perfectly.
