Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This arrived at the tail end of the women-in-prison exploitation wave, when direct-to-video was cannibalizing grindhouse tropes for the Blockbuster era. The genre was essentially DOA by 1990.
Director Bill Milling made roughly 30 softcore and exploitation films in the 70s-90s, often under pseudonyms. This was one of his rare credited works — he was apparently proud enough to claim it.
