Standout Aspects

Acting

Lon Chaney Jr.'s vacant-eyed trance acting is accidentally hilarious.

Practical Effects

The glowing rubber suit that started a thousand memes.

Best for:Solo: Late night with fog machine and zero expectations.·Rewatch: Spot the recycled Universal sets from better movies.
Heads up:Violence: Electrocution deaths are tame by modern standards but frequent.
