Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Insight

Rynard consulted real cardiac researchers, grounding the film's speculative science in actual 2000s-era stem cell and tissue engineering debates.

Cultural

One of the rare Canadian films to receive TIFF's Canada First! spotlight, yet remained almost impossible to find for years—fitting for a movie about invisible connections.
