Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was originally a two-part Italian TV miniseries shoved into theatrical release, explaining the absolutely unhinged runtime. Terence Hill hadn't headlined a western in decades and essentially willed this into existence through sheer Italian star power.
Paul Sorvino reportedly took the role because he wanted to wear cowboy hats and nobody in Hollywood was offering. His performance suggests he made the correct choice.
