Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
LarryBoy emerged from VeggieTales' attempt to create a Christian superhero for the secularized 90s kid—plungers as bat-utility belt substitutes.
This episode's anti-consumerism message is deeply ironic given VeggieTales' massive merchandise empire including actual LarryBoy toys.
