An eccentric millionaire and his grandchildren are embroiled in the plights of some forest gnomes who are searching for the rest of their tribe. While helping them, the millionaire is suspected of being crazy because he's seeing gnomes! He's committed, and the niece and nephew and the gnomes have to find him and free him.

Just got this for my mom on mother's day! Watched it with my parents today for moms day. One of my favorites from my youth. And watching it all these years later, ya end up realizing theres way more to the story than we even remember! Save the forest! Save the disappear'ish elder gnomes from losing the love for life as their homes are at stake!

I saw this when it came out! I was about six! Ten years later in High School, I learned about Upton Sinclair's book "The Jungle." I didn't dream this movie was based on a Sinclair book!
