Standout Aspects

Score

Pink Floyd's first film score — haunting, improvised, perfect.

Cinematography

Ibiza looks like paradise. The lie is the point.

Best for:Solo: Late night, headphones on, questioning every life choice.·Rewatch: Catch what you missed while staring at the pretty colors first time.
Heads up:Drug Use: Extended, unflinching heroin use shown as seductive then horrific.·Disturbing: Needle scenes that'll make your arms ache in sympathy.

Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Pink Floyd recorded the score in one night, improvising while watching rushes. Schroeder literally locked them in the studio.

Cultural

Released months before Altamont and Manson, it accidentally documented the exact moment the '60s died.
