Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Jonathan Tammuz was primarily a celebrated theater director; this remains one of his few feature films, shot on a shoestring budget in 1990s Tel Aviv.
The film explores distinctly Israeli anxieties around Mossad operatives' double lives—a theme that resonated differently post-2010s spy revelations.
