Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Shot in Ottawa for roughly $100,000 CAD, the film's vampires-walking-in-daylight gimmick was invented purely because night shoots were too expensive.
The lesbians-vampires-lesbians plot deliberately echoes 1970s exploitation films like Daughters of Darkness, but with added messiah complex. Director Demarbre called it 'socialist agitprop with kung fu.'
