Hikers Mia and Erin come across a log cabin deep in the forest, where grizzled, enigmatic veteran Ray has taken a seemingly innocent young girl, Chloe, hostage. But in attempting to intervene, they realise that there are far bigger events at play, and when they are attacked by a shadowy group of mercenaries, Chloe begins to reveal her true powers.
