Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This marks the first Shin-chan film primarily set outside Japan since 2019's 'Honeymoon Hurricane.'
The 'Spicy' title references both Indian cuisine and the Japanese slang 'suppai' for dramatic tension—a double meaning lost in translation.

Reactions from the web
The organisers legit don’t know what emotion Indian GenZ has towards Shinchan. We don’t even eat our meals without watching Shinchan. Kids here were actually named as Shinchan by their parents.
