Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This is a remake of the 2014 Japanese film 'Kuime' (Over Your Dead Body), originally a horror-meta hybrid about actors performing a cursed play. Taccone stripped the supernatural elements for pure relationship carnage.
The cabin was built specifically for production and designed with 'murder-friendly' architecture—every room has at least three improvised weapon possibilities visible in frame.
