The film follows a boat carrying migrants from various African countries through the Mediterranean sea to Italy. When the boat loses orientation and goes off course, things turn violent as the migrants blame the smugglers. After finally making it to shore, the desperate passengers try to evade police and a few manage to get away.
Acting
Barkhad Abdi deserves better than Boll-land.
Practical Effects
Claustrophobic boat chaos actually works.

Director
Uwe Boll
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Boll attempting 'relevance' after decades of video game disasters is... a choice. The Lampedusa migrant crisis has spawned serious cinema (Fire at Sea, Human Flow); this is not that.
Shot in Malta doubling for Mediterranean waters, with a real decommissioned fishing vessel. Boll crowdfunded part of the budget because of course he did.
