Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Line Renaud was 94 during filming—this was essentially her farewell performance, making Jacqueline's finality uncomfortably meta.
The film quietly advocates for France's 2016 end-of-life law; Binisti had previously directed documentaries on aging, explaining the documentary-like intimacy.
