Cary Elwes devouring scenery as a moustache-twirling colonial nightmare.

Monkey City sets that look like someone really wanted to build Indiana Jones' retirement home.

Director
Stephen Sommers
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Jason Scott Lee performed most of his own stunts and spent months training with real animals—those tiger cuddles are genuinely him not dying.
This was Disney's attempt to 'dark and gritty' the IP before that became a cliché, and it weirdly predicted the 2016 remake's tone while keeping the colonial love triangle nobody asked for.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this version of The Jungle Book is underrated?
