Creator Koji Kumeta literally made this after ending Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei, finally letting his art style go soft and sentimental. The title itself is a pun: 'kakushigoto' means secrets, but also 'kaku shigoto'—drawing work.
The ED changes subtly each episode, hiding Hime's age in the background art. Pay attention and you'll realize exactly when the devastating time skip happens before it's officially revealed.
