News of Japanese invasion spreads to Guangzhou. Minister WOO seeks support from HING so as to have Dongshan Commercial Bank remain in business in Guangzhou. YEE recalls her memory of WAH upon seeing his pictures. Soon after, she asks HING to go outing with her together. HING finally realizes she has complete recovery of memory. At this time, someone wants to kill HING. In an attempt to save HING, YEE falls to the ground after being shot. Tsui Hei Lau is closed owing to the outbreak of war. Friends of Tsui Hei Lau realize it is time to say goodbye and to pursue their own futures. CHING visits HING who reproaches himself for causing his beloved mother’s death.
