FYI to those who might not have caught the full details on this anime. Understand I am NOT an expert in Japanese culture, just someone who read up on it a bit after watching the first few episodes. "Gal" in the title refers to a "Gyaru" which is a type of fashionista popular in Japan, with an emphasis on street fashion--bright clothes, bold make-up, a healthy amount of exposed skin, and more. In the anime, the gyaru at the school have a rep for being rebellious, slutty, and a little bit dangerous. Of course the not-too-surprising twist here is that Yukana, the title girl, is nothing like the stereotype and is actually pretty sweet.under her tough-girl veneer.

Compared to the sub, this honestly felt like an abridged series which is funny as hell already. I can already imagine the English is gonna be bonkers.
