Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Yuuko Ichihara appears in nearly every Clamp universe, making this the connective tissue of a 30-year manga empire. She's basically the Nick Fury of emotionally devastating magical girls.
The series was animated by Production IG while the manga was still ongoing, forcing original endings that Clamp later contradicted. The 2011 film and 2023 reboot attempt different reconciliations—none of them happy.
