Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Len Wein created the Human Target comics in 1972; this adaptation was the first live-action attempt, predating the 2010 Mark Valley version by 18 years.

Cultural

Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo later wrote The Rocketeer (1991), bringing that same retro-pulp energy to this short-lived series. Their fingerprints are all over the practical effects and earnest tone.
