Chasing the Trible Crown is not easy. In 150 years of the co-existance of all three races, only 13 winners. 10 out of the 13 were homebred horses. I always say that Alydar deserves a mention when speaking about the Triple Crown, 3 times behind Affirmed !!!. Secretariat still holds the record on all three tracks, especially the Belmont performance, is probably the finest performance of any horse ever. Each time split was faster than the previous one. Never seen anything like this ever and probably we will never see anything like it ever again. I hope Netflix treats the industry with respect. Horse Racing is the king of sports in my eyes but also has a very dark side. Horses like all animals are not chosen by humans as we like to think. A horse will choose you at the end of the day.
