Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Public health doctor service is a real Korean class loophole — the show satirizes how privilege lets elites dodge real military sacrifice while pretending they've served.
Pyeondong-do doesn't exist, but it's based on Korea's actual remote islands where doctors rotate through — some have no electricity, let alone plastic surgery equipment.
