Acting
Karpovsky and crew play themselves with delicious awkwardness.
Direction
Zahedi's self-lacerating vision turns ego into art.
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
BRIC TV is a real Brooklyn public access station; their actual executives appear, blurring whether they knew what they were funding.
Zahedi's earlier film 'I Am a Sex Addict' established his confessional style—this series weaponizes that reputation against itself.
