
Emrah Lama is an independent filmmaker born and raised in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany, as the son of Turkish immigrant workers. Growing up during the raw and chaotic atmosphere of 1980s and 90s Berlin, film became both an escape and a lifelong passion. Raised on videostores, late-night cinema screenings and VHS culture, he developed an early fascination with storytelling, psychological horror and atmospheric filmmaking.
