Director and screenwriter Marco André Lavagnino was born in 2001. Originally from El Salvador, his youth transpired in Mexico City and New York. In 2023, he graduated from The College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a specialization in Film/TV/Radio after also doing a semester abroad in Toronto, Canada. His first short film BLINK (2022) was chosen to represent the University of Toronto at the RPCÉ program of the Oscar-qualifying Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.
