Taye Cannon was born in Gadsden, Alabama, and raised throughout the deep south before relocating to Austin, Texas. In Texas, Taye has fronted multiple musical groups traveling across the United States and Japan opening for the likes of BB King, Tom Jones, R Kelly, Ludacris, and Fitz & The Tantrums. Taye studied Meisner with acclaimed acting instructor Laurel Vouvray (In the Moment Acting) and attended the Film Acting Academy in Houston.
