Hailing from Maryland, Jasmine Ashanti earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Temple University and went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from UC-San Diego. Jasmine's career began with a string of impressive performances in a wide range of theater productions. Some of her credits include memorable turns in "Ready Steady Yeti Go", as well as "Dontrell, Who Kissed the Sea". Jasmine also appeared in "The Last Tiger in Haiti" in a co-production with Berkeley Repertory and La Jolla Playhouse, where Jasmine was praised by THEATRIUS for her ability to captivate audiences...
