Kornii Hrytsiuk is a Ukrainian film director and screenwriter. In 2016-2018, Kornii had been working on his independent feature debut film ‘2020#desertedcountry’. This was the first Ukrainian mockumentary about how almost all Ukrainians left their country. The film was presented at the Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival in May 2018 in Kyiv and then shown in Germany, the USA, theCzech Republic, andSweden. Hereafter, Kornii worked on his next film - a documentary ‘Train: Kyiv-War’. This film was about passengers of a night train that connects Kyiv and a war zone in eastern Ukraine....
