His first introduction to filmmaking was figuring out how to make his little brother disappear and reappear using a primitive, in-camera jump-cut with his dad’s VHS camera for their Matrix-style fan film. Years later, while attending NC State, he took an intro to film course on a whim. After the first class, he quickly switched his biology major to film studies and haven’t looked back since.
