Mare Kandre, born Mare Ingrid Hansson, was a Swedish author, and singer/songwriter. Her first opus "I ett annat land/In another country" was published 1984 by Albert Bonniers förlag. She achieved considerable acclaim in Scandinavia and her works have been translated into more than eight languages.
