Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Tal created this as his CalArts thesis film in 2016; it later screened at Annecy and won multiple festival awards despite (or because of) its brevity.
The film's power comes from what it doesn't explain—we never see who packed the suitcase, forcing us to project our own family ghosts onto it.
