Standout Aspects

Acting

Jiang Yiyan's delicate restraint against Florian Lukas's gruff warmth.

Cinematography

Chongqing's neon density crashing into Berlin's gray spaciousness.

Production

2011 iPhone as genuine plot device—already a period piece.

Best for:Solo: Low-stakes Sunday when you want Europe without the drama.·Date Night: Early dating—quirky enough to spark conversation, tame enough for nerves.·Streaming: Discovering hidden 2010s international rom-coms that algorithms buried.
