A brilliant film that suffered from being serious sci fi and appealing to the Star Wars audience. No doubt this was a big influence on Event Horizon.

Disney spent the last 40 years ignoring this movie. About time they recognized it's popularity. It's not Star Wars, more like Forbidden Planet meets 20,000 Leagues.
