Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Brosnan was so desperate to shed his Bond image that he took this role for scale and helped produce it. The mustache was his idea.
The film flopped in 2005 but found its audience on cable—it's essentially a feature-length exploration of what happens when masculine archetypes (businessman, assassin) collide and contaminate each other.

I watch this movie once a year (Always in the summer for some reason 🤷♂️). A true hidden gem that never gets old. Maybe Pierce Brosnans best role.
