Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Much of the dialogue was improvised; Treadaway and Tena only met days before shooting. The handcuffs were real and occasionally caused actual bruising.
This captures the dying era of mid-size UK festivals before corporate consolidation — T in the Park itself ended in 2016. It's basically a time capsule of 2011 indie music culture.
