Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Sondra Locke was Clint Eastwood's partner at the time; she used her industry clout to get this grimy indie made, then immediately pivoted to Oscar-nominated prestige films.

Cultural

This film's 'home invasion by seductive strangers' premise was so potent it was remade twice—once officially in 2015, and once very unofficially by Eli Roth as Knock Knock.
