Steven C. Stewart had severe cerebral palsy and typed the screenplay with his one controllable hand over several years. He died of complications before the premiere.
This forms the second part of Glover's 'It' trilogy, following What Is It? (2005), both funded by his Back to the Future paychecks. The films remain virtually undistributed.
