Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This film exemplifies the 'sacrificing mother' archetype in 1980s Hindi cinema, where female virtue is proven through maximum suffering.
Kader Khan reportedly wrote his scenes as the villain Karodimal in his sleep—probably because the character has zero redeeming qualities and maximum mustache-twirling evil.
