Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Niní Marshall was Argentina's biggest female star, famous for playing working-class women who outsmarted social systems designed to exclude them.
The real Mata Hari was executed in 1917; this film uses her death as launchpad for a comedy about women reclaiming narrative control from the men who surveil them.
