Overview

Action

Alberto has come back to town several years after he made a promise that he made with Rosita, who has forgotten the promise since they were kids. Felipe, the other lover, beats Alberto up and frames him for a murder. Initially Facundo, father of Felipe and influential landowner, made everything possible for Alberto to pay for his supposed fault without realizing who it was really about. Standout Aspects

Practical Effects

Gloriously unconvincing blood squibs and fight choreography.

Acting

Fernando Almada's mustache carries more weight than the script.

Best for:Streaming: Late-night B-movie discovery with snacks and zero expectations.·Friends: Irony-forward group watch for 'so bad it's good' energy.·Background: 85 minutes of violent wallpaper while doom-scrolling.
Heads up:Violence: Frequent fistfights, shootings, and one very theatrical beating.·Disturbing: Framing an innocent man for murder played as plot convenience.

Cultural

Fernando Almada was a lucha film legend; this late-career role let him play patriarchal villainy instead of heroic wrestling.
